Quarry Heavy Fab / Maintenance Engineer

Jones Group 2021 Ltd is the market leader in Quarrying in the Taranaki Region. Due to the continued growth of the business, we are looking for another experienced engineering all-rounder to join our workshop team.
Imagine a giant sandpit with real machinery and it being your job to help maintain and repair it!
We have over 100 different machines ranging from high-pressure water pumps to trucks and trailers with diggers, loaders, dozers, crushers, dump trucks, generators, and everything to do with earthmoving in between!
This permanent full-time position will involve breakdowns, general maintenance and repairs, as well as improvements and upgrades of heavy machinery including crushers, screens, diggers, loaders, trucks, and trailers.
The Ideal Applicant Will Have: Knowledge of heavy machinery
MIG and arc welding to a high standard
Physically strong and fit
Good verbal and written communication
Motivated with strong time management and the ability to work independently
Health and safety focused
Full driver's license; WTR an advantage
Reliable, honest, flexible, and a good team player with a can-do attitude
