Quantity Surveyor (Wellington Based)

About The Role Working alongside the Senior QS, you will be responsible for providing quotes/tenders and building effective relationships with internal staff, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors for HVAC installations. Other Responsibilities Will Include Prepare quotations, bids, and tenders within client deadlines. Deliver contract administration services, including undertaking payment assessments, variation assessments, and the preparation of claims. Provide sound and accurate monthly financial reporting, including accurate cost forecasting. Settlement of final accounts, including the successful negotiation and agreement of claims. Supporting the business in winning repeat work through the professional delivery of services. Developing strong stakeholder relationships and handling ad hoc QS tasks. Please note this role is based in Wellington. About You Along with your Quantity Surveying qualification, you will have a minimum of 3 years of HVAC engineering experience with a proven ability to train and mentor team members, creating a positive and collaborative team environment. Your expertise in the investigation stage of projects and feasibility studies will be highly valued, as will your competence in writing proposals and dealing with clients. You are familiar with NZ specifications and procedures and are able to read and interpret various building industry drawings and specifications. Accuracy in measurements and calculations is essential, as is maintaining a clean and tidy workspace. Your excellent problem-solving, time management, customer focus, and communication skills will set you apart.
