The opportunityDue to several promotions within the division, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented Quantity Surveyor Manager to be part of our commercial management team.
This is a key role within the division and as such you will be responsible for managing an efficient and effective team, acting as a mentor to ensure 'Best Practices' principles are being adopted to achieve operational excellence and planned targets. You must also possess strong commercial acumen, excellent communication skills, and be adept at building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders.
We would expect you to have five to seven years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with two to three years in a management capacity. This is a leadership position where you will be managing direct reports, supporting them in their projects as well as running your own.
The role also naturally leads itself towards training and developing others, and having experience and desire to be involved in hands-on training would be another key requirement.
With this being a management role, we will be looking for candidates with a passion for leading others and a clear vision of how to be part of the continued growth and successful management of Auckland's commercial team and the overall performance of the region.
