About the job: As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for collaborating closely with a commercial team who have secured multiple large scale projects across the Wellington region. This role involves providing comprehensive support in project estimation, including budgeting, cost analysis, and resource allocation managing the contract from commencement through to completion. Your main responsibilities will be to: Evaluate and price measuring documents Create construction schedules of quantities and project budgets Obtain quotes from suppliers for materials Calculate material rates Conduct contract negotiations with clients and contractors Audit invoices, process variations, client progress claims, subcontractor progress payments, and manage financial tracking/reporting and supplier payments Administer general contracts, including document control Develop project programming Ensure quality assurance standards are met Resolve disputes between contracting parties Attend site visits, engage with subcontractors, and liaise with clients What you will need to be successful in the role: Relevant Tertiary Qualification.
