With a rich culture and strong sense of family and community, this is the place to be.We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our solid, well-respected Taranaki team. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will coordinate and facilitate projects for clients, ensuring costings are provided and projects meet budgetary requirements.Responsibilities include:Tendering, estimating, and contract administration tasksEffective communication with management, consultants, subcontractors, and clientsDelivery of promises, meeting deadlines, and maintaining procedures and policiesThe successful candidate will have:A qualification in Quantity SurveyingA full clean NZ driving licenceAn understanding of Construction Contracts and the CCA3-5+ years of experience working as a QSExperience in the commercial construction sector (desirable)Strong knowledge of NZS contracts and construction methodologiesExcellent attention to detail, delivering on time, every timeA great attitude to achieve the best in everything you doWhat we can offer you:A competitive salaryPersonal and professional growth programmesA supportive and collaborative working environmentMedical Insurance upon 12 months of serviceParental leave top-up payments for 10 weeks for the primary caregiverTrade discountsPlease know that our recruitment process includes a pre-employment drug test and Ministry of Justice check.We offer flexibility with the start date, allowing the successful candidate to begin as soon as possible or on January 13, 2025.
