We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QS to join A1 Decorating team in our Christchurch office.

As a QS, you will be responsible for: Pricing and progress payment claims Preparing tender documents Conducting site visits Managing project budgets You will work closely with our project managers and clients to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
We offer: You will enjoy working with a wide range of commercial and residential clients The chance to grow with the group You will be working with an industry-leading company with a large in-house team who take pride in the work they do You will be supported by a strong management team with extensive industry experience A fun and friendly work environment with an attractive package Key Requirements: You will be a master multi-tasker You have experience with the painting industry both commercial and residential Proven track record as a QS with at least 2 years' experience in the NZ contract environment You are able to produce accurate pricing, procurement, and progress claims and manage variations You will bring a positive attitude with great attention to detail Strong financial acumen and ability to understand margins and costs A committed team player Must have effective oral and written communication skills You will also have great computer skills with Google Suite, Microsoft 365 products including Word, Excel, etc. Advantage if experience in using Fergus, Bluebeam, and HubSpot Applications close at 5pm on the 20th of November with the start date negotiable.
