Putting the client at the heart of what they do is ingrained into the culture of the business and their well-established team consistently strive to get the best outcomes on their projects. The majority of their work is within the retail, tourism, healthcare and retirement sectors and projects can range from $5M to $30M. With a strong forecast of work ahead of them, they're looking to grow their team to meet demand. Your new role Working closely with the project team, you'll be involved in multiple projects from set up, delivery through to close out and be capable of taking ownership of projects with the support of a Senior Quantity Surveyor if required. A number of key responsibilities are as follows: Prepare competitive design and build tenders Produce Schedules of Quantities Tender Analysis Subcontractor Procurement Monthly Financial Forecast Assess & manage variation & progress claims Final accounts What you'll need to succeed You will have a strong track record in commercial construction projects as a main contractor, have a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, exposure to the standards NZS3915, 3910, 3916 and outstanding communication skills.
