We specialize in a wide variety of civil infrastructure projects, offering our team a dynamic work environment and ample opportunities for career growth.We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role will play a key part in project success through detailed financial management and reporting, along with involvement in tendering processes. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to work on diverse and challenging civil construction projects, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and project budgets.Lead tender preparation and submissions for new civil construction projects.Manage contracts, including variations and progress claims, ensuring projects are delivered within budget.Conduct detailed analysis of project costs and recommend strategies to minimize expenses.Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to ensure financial control throughout project lifecycles.Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.Report on project financial status to senior management, ensuring transparency and accuracy.Key Requirements:5+ years' experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of the New Zealand construction industry standards and regulations.Proficient in quantity surveying software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Full New Zealand driver's license.Permanent residency or New Zealand citizenship required.What We Offer:Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 based on experience and qualifications.Opportunities for career progression, including pathways to senior and management roles.Supportive work environment with a focus on work-life balance.Exposure to a wide range of exciting and high-value civil construction projects.Professional development opportunities, including training and certifications.Potential company vehicle for the right candidate.If you have experience in civil construction and a passion for driving projects forward with financial accuracy, we would love to hear from you!
