About the role
We are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the Hawkins team delivering an iconic project in Auckland.
Who we are looking for:
Reporting to our Commercial Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the financial management of projects, setting and monitoring budgets, reviewing cost to complete, programming review, progress claims and variations, and financial reporting and systems.
To be considered for this role you will have:
A minimum of 3-4 years' experience working on commercial construction projects
A Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar relevant qualification
Great teamwork and people skills. You'll be comfortable working with a wide range of people including clients, consultants and senior management
Excellent NZ contract law knowledge
Excellent financial literacy and exposure to Jobpac or a similar financial control package would be highly desirable
Advanced computer literacy; particularly in Excel
