About the Company:
Stellar Recruitment has partnered with a leader in constructing data centres across Australasia who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in New Zealand. Our client's team is responsive, innovative and trusted in supporting their customers. They configure the landscape to meet the security, reliability, connectivity and sustainability needs for today and tomorrow.
Ideally, you will have had exposure to data facilities or have vast commercial main contractor or client-side construction experience including experience working on complex commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Understand all commercial aspects of construction contracts and identify areas of financial risk
Cost control management
Collate, QA and analyse contractor pricing
Liaise with managers and stakeholders
Interrogate rates & quantity measures for accuracy
Preparation of head contract progress claims
Ensure all contract obligations are met within policy & procedure

To Be Successful You Will Have:

5+ years NZ Quantity Surveying experience (Main contractor or consultancy)
NZ Citizen
In depth knowledge of construction projects
Stakeholder management skills
Proven experience in the preparation of contract agreements
