Extrastaff are currently working with nationally recognised Construction Contractors across the country, all of whom are growing and seeking Quantity Surveyors to bolster their already well-established teams.
About the role: Our clients are busy commercial and residential contractors with a significant pipeline of work for the rest of the year and extending into 2025. We work with large blue-chip clients as well as boutique builders that are looking for a true culture fit. We are open to Quantity Surveyors that are at the start of their career looking for a new challenge, as well as intermediate QSs that want a move.
You'll be conducting site visits to measure and provide quotes for a mixture of commercial and residential projects. You'll be doing take-offs and pricing off-plan. The role will require continual communication with clients and internal staff, including PMs, Construction Managers, and Directors. You'll be working with site teams as well as backend, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget. Depending on the client, you may be using an assortment of software platforms and technology.
