Quantity Surveyor / Estimator

The Role
Working within the commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the pricing of projects in civil and construction. Some of your key duties will include:

Involved in tendering, pricing, and estimation
Cost tracking and cost control
Budget monitoring and forecasting
Progress claims and variations
Stakeholder liaison
Contract administration

The candidate should have the following skills:

Ideal candidate will have previous experience in civil and commercial site work construction; however, other industry sectors will be considered too
Ideally 5-6 years of experience
Strong communication and written skills
Ability to read plans and establish variations
Proven experience in Quantity Surveying and Estimation
Be well organized and have strong planning skills
Be computer savvy and have experience with various cost software
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Be commercial
