Join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of a greener future.We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor/Contract Administrator to join our Solar EPC team. In this role, you will assist the project team in ensuring INTEC is meeting all contractual obligations as well as support the preparation of progress payment claims, variation management, and supporting the bid process for new projects.Key Responsibilities:Contribute costing expertise to Bid team for project tender proposals.Support procurement with negotiations and appointment of sub-contractors, including defining scope of work/services and agreeing to conditions of contracts.Provide support to the project team by monitoring project budgets versus actual costs.Work closely with the finance team to track expenditure, identifying cost savings where possible.Collaborate with the Project Scheduler to ensure timely submission of progress claims and reports.Maintain records of contracts, change orders, and project documentation.Prepare and agree on sub-contractor final accounts.Support the Commercial Contract Manager with the preparation and/or defense of contractual claims under the Head Contract or Subcontract.Qualifications/Experience:You will have at least 5+ years' experience in a Quantity Surveying or Contract Administration role, preferably working as the commercial project lead for a main contractor in the civils construction, renewable energy, or oil and gas sectors. EPC/EPCM experience would be desirable.Your cost and contract management skills will be excellent, which when coupled with your strong commercial acumen has resulted in proven results by increasing the profitability of projects and the mitigation of risk.
