We're not only building the country from the ground up - but we're also building people's careers.About the roleWe are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join the Hawkins team delivering an iconic project in Auckland.Who we are looking for:Reporting to our Commercial Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the financial management of projects, setting and monitoring budgets, reviewing cost to complete, programming review, progress claims and variations, and financial reporting and systems.To be considered for this role you will have:A minimum of 3-4 years' experience working on commercial construction projectsA Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or similar relevant qualificationGreat teamwork and people skills. You'll be comfortable working with a wide range of people including clients, consultants and senior managementExcellent NZ contract law knowledgeExcellent financial literacy and exposure to Jobpac or a similar financial control package would be highly desirableAdvanced computer literacy; particularly in ExcelWhy HawkinsWhen you join Hawkins, you'll be part of a driven, passionate and energetic team that strives to always exceed the expectations of our clients.
