Quantity Surveying Role

We have a position for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who wants to develop a long-term career with a thriving company based in New Zealand.The role involves:Tendering/Pricing from plans and site measuresNegotiating to secure new workControl & Management of all cost/contractual elements of a project from award through to completionEnsuring projects are delivered profitablyBuilding and maintaining healthy working relationships with staff, clients, and suppliersThe ideal candidate will need:1 to 2 years proven experience in a QS/Estimating roleA degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying (or be working towards)Strong computer skills and Excel proficiencyGood planning and organisational skillsSome knowledge of the following would be beneficial:Concrete preparation and repairsRoller and spray applied Intumescent/protective coatings to steel and timberProprietary plastering systems from the likes of Sto and Resene RockcoteExterior plastering and render finishesProtective and decorative paint finishesIn return, we will offer a competitive package negotiable on experience with a vehicle.You must have rights to work in NZ or we will not respond.Apply online for this role or contact Scott Chamberlain Brown for more information.
