Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Quality Technician to join our Quality team in our Auckland factory.
The Quality Technician will be a key contributor supporting our Food Safety & Quality Team by ensuring safe products that meet specification are released into the market and any products that do not meet specification are effectively isolated.
Responsibilities: Managing the in-house laboratory,Ordering of consumables for the labManaging the calibration of equipment on sitePerforming daily sensory evaluationsTesting and releasing of materials & finished goodsConducting stability testsILT testingTrending & reporting of NC'sConducting annual pest control auditsAdditionally, in this role you will be responsible for:
The day-to-day compliance with food safety and quality systemsParticipating in Mock recalls / product recallsAssist with investigations into complaintsParticipate in production trialsTest intermediate products, finished goods and other samples as required.Training and coaching production staff in food safety and quality.QualificationsWe're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
