Ensuring accurate auditing and reporting to the Director and Management Team. Acting as a mentor to managers and staff in developing their understanding of aged care quality and compliance which will make you an integral part of the Quality team.Your primary functions will be:Support role to Facility Managers in ensuring systems and processes are maintained.Accurate auditing and reporting to Facility Managers, Operations Lead, Quality Lead, Clinical Lead, and Governance.Resident and Employee safety is conducted in a timely manner.Contribute to the quality improvement processes at Brooklands Care Group.Assist the Management Team and others in preparation for Certification Audits.Provide education to staff as appropriate regarding the certification standards and other quality issues.Act as a mentor to managers and staff in developing their understanding of aged care quality and compliance.Skills & ExperienceAged Care experienceKnowledge of Aged Care Standards, Guidelines and Regulations.Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.Friendly and effective communication abilities.Proficient with Microsoft applications.Strong organisational and leadership skills.Responsibilities and DutiesMaintaining a monthly audit calendar and conducting internal audits.Schedule meetings focused on resident care, quality reviews and continuous improvement.Lead the monthly quality meetings to ensure relevant compliance targets are being met.Completing weekly hazard inspections and reports.Identify trends, serious incidents and complaints and immediately report to the Quality Lead and Operations Lead.Support sites in identifying data trends that may require remedial actions through continuous improvement.Implement and review quality policies and procedures.Analysis of Key Performance Indicators.Key selection criteria include:Previous experience working within the aged care sector.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.High level of interpersonal and communication skills.It really is our people and culture that set us apart, with our ongoing focus of working together as one team.
