About the roleCraigs Investment Partners (Craigs) takes the quality of advice our Investment Advisers deliver to clients seriously.
To help them achieve these high standards, we have a dedicated Quality of Advice (QoA) team who work with our Advisers to help them meet their regulatory obligations (in respect to advice) through training and monitoring.Based in either our Tauranga or Auckland office, the QoA team are looking for an Associate to join the team on a permanent full-time basis whose primary focus will be to: Engage with our Investment Advisers and help them learn and manage the advice process, providing guidance on often complex or unclear advice situations Monitor client documentation and undertake regular reviews to ensure the highest quality of advice is being provided to Craig's clients Assist the business in the development and improvement of advisory processes and tools Contribute to the management and monitoring of management information systems related to the delivery of advice Collaborate with other Craig's teams to ensure our clients receive the best possible advice About youWe are searching for someone who ideally has a relevant tertiary qualification in either Finance, Business or Economics and be able to demonstrate the following: Strong knowledge of the investment advice process, New Zealand regulation of advice, markets, portfolio investing Knowledge of the financial services regulatory framework Thorough understanding of the portfolio management concepts Knowledge of advice issues faced by Advisers (investment markets, trusts, planning, tax, etc) Good knowledge and ability to pick up systems quickly Excellent written and communication skills Benefits Comprehensive health insurance Craigs Community Day (annual paid volunteer day) Additional week of leave (conditions apply) Other leave (such as sick leave, bereavement leave, and family violence leave) from your first day of work Parental leave - 26 weeks' pay 'top up' for eligible Primary Carers Long service leave Annual health check and flu vaccinations Savings benefits and preferential insurance rates About the CompanyCraigs is a multi award winning investment advisory firm which is one of the largest in New Zealand.
