This position is based in Whanganui. The successful candidate will become the Quality leader of our company.Key responsibilities include:Responsible for the ISO 17025 accreditation.Coordinate and assist with QHSE management and auditsOrganise and/or carry out internal audits including publishing an annual audit schedule.Organise and facilitate IANZ/TS and other external audits.Coordinate and assist with all internal/external communication relating quality and audits.Train staff in Quality.Organise and/or carry out management review meetings.Monitor method validation procedures and maintain validation records.Effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.Ensure quality of data produced meets all required standards and objectives.Coordinate and assist with establishing measurement uncertainties.Calibration of instruments in Laboratory occasionallyCoordinate and assist with growth of calibration laboratoryRisk & trend analysis providing actionable reports for the management teamAbout YouAppropriate Tertiary qualification in Physics, Engineering or related field.Must be experienced in calibrationSound commercial laboratory experience (industrial)Minimum of 2 years experience in a laboratory with ISO 17025 accreditationMinimum of 2 years experience dealing with quality assuranceThis is a long-term opportunity for an outstanding professional, where hard work will be appreciated and rewarded, along with a supportive, down-to-earth team, who will assist in your career growth.
