Quality Manager

Quality Manager Position This well-established main contractor has been involved in several projects up to $200M including datacentres, schools and universities, hospitals, and major commercial projects.
With major projects in the pipeline, they are looking for a Quality Manager with a depth of experience overseeing quality aspects across their portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities: Developing and implementing quality control procedures and protocols for construction projects.
Leading and developing the Quality Engineers across the business.
Conducting regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify any deficiencies.
Working closely with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to resolve quality-related issues.
Managing and maintaining quality documentation, including inspection reports, logs, and records.
Training and educating construction personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
Monitoring the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards.
Ensuring all construction work complies with health and safety regulations.
Coordinating and documenting the testing and commissioning of building systems.
Preparing and presenting quality reports to senior management and clients.
Key Requirements: Tertiary qualified in engineering or construction management.
At least 5-10 years of experience gained within the commercial construction sector, particularly focused on the quality management of steel structures and concrete.
Strong knowledge of QA processes and continuous improvements.
Experience with performing onsite inspections and ensuring adherence to building codes.
Experience in creating and updating Quality Management plans.
Able to drive quality outcomes working across all internal project staff and external stakeholders.
Exceptional communication and systems skills.
Remuneration: $140K - $165K pending experience.
