Nau mai haere mai ki ta matou whanau | Welcome to our Fulton Hogan Family We have an exciting opportunity for a quality assurance expert to join our Christchurch based team, as the Quality Department Manager.
Reporting to the HSQTE Executive Divisional Manager, this role is pivotal to educating and supporting our local operational and management teams to ensure they have the necessary tools to effectively deliver in the quality assurance space.
You will also be responsible for overseeing and developing a team of three.In addition to the above you will: Utilise your knowledge of the Fulton Hogan quality assurance systems and processes to ensure compliance and consistency across Canterbury operations.Support our teams through the identification of quality risks.Review quality assurance documentation for non-conformances and provide technical risk-based advice.Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and other stakeholders, to ensure continued success in your role.Monitor trends and developments and recommend new techniques and methods of operation.Good Work equals Good Benefits Medical insurance for you and your whanau.

We're looking for someone with: Previous quality assurance experience, ideally in a civil contracting environment.Bachelor/Diploma in Engineering or extensive industry experience.Extensive knowledge of relevant quality assurance regulations and specifications.A personable approach to develop and maintain relationships at all levels.The ability to encourage a positive quality culture throughout the region, ensuring continuous improvement.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.The ability to undertake comprehensive quality investigations for remedial works.Basic understanding of GIS and its application is advantageousCreating, Connecting and caring for the community Our people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities.
