We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Engineering/Operations Quality Manager to join our Video Engineering team to assist in ensuring product quality across our video platform products.
This role will have the responsibility to ensure the continued high level of quality of all video products (hardware and software) as well as grow and manage our quality team, and improve our quality processes across the organization.
The successful candidate will be working closely with our video hardware and firmware engineering teams as well as our operations team and technical partners.

JOB DUTIES: Planning and management of the company quality processes – both Engineering and Operations focused Managing, growing, and training the quality team at the Auckland location Operations responsibilities including the manufacturing test and assembly quality of all products shipping from this location Engineering quality including the firmware, hardware and software quality of all products designed at this location Interfacing with product management teams, engineering design and development teams, customer service teams, as well as the ODMs who manufacture our products Role reporting to Director of Engineering and spans both Engineering and Operations domains YOU MUST HAVE: 10+ years of experience in an engineering product quality role, with 5+ years in a leadership or management position Strong technical knowledge of hardware and software required Engineering bachelor's or master's degree required WE VALUE: Self-motivation and ability to drive quality initiatives Very strong interpersonal skills for managing and interacting with a variety of technical groups Cooperative nature to work closely with internal and external engineering teams Direct experience in the video space with knowledge of the video industry If knowledge not already held, then strong technical understanding required in order to learn the video industry Strong technical, problem solving skills to understand quality issues, communicate clearly, and implement improvements Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement Communication skills - team member will engage regularly with both internal and external teams, executive level as well as technical teams and partners WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU: Opportunity to lead quality teams, impacting quality of Resideo products globally Work with a collaborative, high-performing team Work on developing a range of products with long-term plans Have a global impact that will help drive a world where people are healthy, happy, safe, and secure Benefits package including health insurance and Employee Assistance Plan #J-18808-Ljbffr
