ABIRehabilitation Limited, the leader in brain injury rehabilitation and part ofthe Health and Wellbeing portfolio of the Evolution Healthcare group, isseeking a dynamic and experienced Quality Manager to join our team.

We provide post-acute neurorehabilitation forclients with serious brain injuries and stroke.Our large inter-disciplinary team of nursing, medical, and allied healthprofessionals serves clients across the entire North Island. We have multiple facilities in Auckland andWellington.

As Quality Manager, your leadership role iscritical in maintaining and improving quality and service excellence to ensurehigh quality client care. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE), permanent positionbased in Auckland or Wellington working across the Health and Wellbeing Groupwithin Evolution Healthcare. Travel (within NZ) will be required.

As the Quality Manager, you will be responsiblefor:

End-to-end Leadership ofthe Quality function for a number of rehabilitation organisations, supported bya team comprising a Quality Advisor, Quality Coordinator and QualityAdministrator.
Developing, implementingand overseeing quality management systems and processes for the Health andWellbeing portfolio
Leading quality and processimprovement across the Health and Wellbeing portfolio
Lead root cause analysesfollowing significant events.
Lead audit activities(internal and external) and establish an organisational culture ofrisk-awareness.
Ensure compliance withregulatory, legislative, and contractual requirements across the Health andWellbeing Group of Evolution Healthcare.
Maintain ABI'saccreditation status.
Regular reporting to the ExecutiveLeadership team on key performance indicators and quality systems. Analysequality metrics and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.
Provide operational andadvisory support to the Health and Wellbeing portfolio
Contribute to the educationand training of staff regarding quality.
Lead communication,networking and knowledge transfer of accreditation and regulatory informationand data outcomes throughout the organisation.
Collaborate withcross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuousimprovement
Development and review oforganisational policies and procedures to support service evaluation.
Continuous qualityimprovement process development and oversight
Maintaining a close workingrelationship with the Group Quality Manager, Evolution Healthcare Group
Chair ta range of Committeesand participate as a member on the National Clinical Governance Committee forEvolution Healthcare Group.
Requirements :

Nursing or allied healthbackground and registration
Minimum of five yearsworking in a Quality role in a healthcare-related field.
Keen understanding of NewZealand healthcare quality standards / requirements and their application.
Experience working directlywith the Ministry of Health, ACC, and other funding/legislative bodies.
Experience/proficient withauditing and measurement systems and quality management software and tools.
Demonstrated experienceleading the preparation activities for external audits or certifications.
Experience in thedevelopment, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of qualitysystems.
Experience in a leadershiprole, with the ability to lead a team and to effectively participate as part ofa team.
Highly computer literatewith PC platforms and the Microsoft Office suite.
High level verbal, written,presentation and time management skills.
Attention to detail; strongdecision-making skills; confident; diplomatic and tactful with excellentinterpersonal skills and the ability to influence others.
Post-graduate trainingand/or professional certification in Quality systems (for example, throughNZOQ).
Annual PracticingCertificate; preferably within a neuro or musculoskeletal rehabilitationenvironment.
Understanding of businessprocesses and strategies.
Demonstrated experiencewith quality and accreditation systems, particularly CARF.
Conversant with Risk Man.
