About the role Be the lead for all Aliaxis New Zealand businesses on Quality and Environmental Management Systems both strategically and operationally, implementing best practice.
Leads day to day Quality activities while leading continuous improvement in Quality practices to make sure Aliaxis NZ stays efficient and cost effective while also aligning quality practices and methodologies across equivalent plants to bring a higher level of standardization.
Responsible for Operating an IANZ accredited Product and Material test centre to support all of Aliaxis NZ and prioritize the work accordingly so that it meets the needs of Aliaxis NZ.
Support the individual businesses from a product quality perspective within Aliaxis NZ on significant customer complaints.
About you Proven success in Quality Leadership at a senior level.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior quality role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Quality Statistical database systems.
Experience and ability to support, manage and motivate direct reports and building a high performing quality team.
Tertiary qualification in Engineering or Science discipline essential.
Good understanding of NZ regulatory compliance relevant to our operation.
Sound practical understanding of products, their quality assurance and processing.
Good organizational abilities and financial understanding.
