Quality Inspector

£33000 - £35000 per annum + to be discussed
Driving licence and Passport required. You must be adaptable, conscientious, hardworking and motivated from an Engineering background.
ResponsibilitiesInspect all goods to ensure that they meet the required standards.Utilise AutoCAD to check incoming and in-house produced work against engineering drawings.Good working knowledge of the Microsoft suite, particularly MS Excel, to check the status of orders.Inspect internal work completed before subcontracting and re-inspect when it comes back completed.Work alongside the Shop Floor Chargehand to ensure fabrications completed are of the required standard before going on to assembly.Identify the cause of poor standard work received and collaborate with other departments to ensure that our suppliers meet the highest quality standards.Produce reports on Quality Standards throughout the business and set standards for both company personnel and subcontracted work.Work with team members to maximise productivity and efficiency.Work closely with the Procurement Manager to highlight and resolve issues quickly.RequirementsYou will need:
HNC in Mechanical Engineering3 years of experience in a similar roleProficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCADFlexibility to work away both in the UK and Overseas (all expenses paid)Please call Emma on 07483919913 or apply today!
