In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering Danone's Quality and Food Safety goals, focusing on identifying improvement opportunities and championing consumer-centric thinking.Reporting to the Quality Food Safety Manager you will ensure a high level of awareness & understanding of all relevant Health & Safety policies and procedures, assure adherence to current Food Safety & Quality regulatory / certification requirements, and ensure a complete & current overview of process/new ingredients validation management for the site. You will focus on improvement with zero defect processes, scrap reduction, and improved Quality & Food Safety of the product.You willContribute to the achievement of a zero-harm workplace through active participation in and support of the company's WISE Health & Safety programDrive process and equipment validations as per regulatory and company standards requirementsDrive continuous improvement for the clean in place programme for the production facilityLead food safety/quality improvements and/or certification-focused projectsDrive standardization by implementing a systematic approach to enhance business practices and performance through analysis and capability studies, identifying key improvement opportunities.Create/review validation protocols, carry out risk assessments, and assist in food safety reviews/auditsTrack quality root cause analysis open actions and ensure the effectiveness with proper close out to prevent reoccurrenceSupport site-wide efforts to conformity with relevant Food Safety & Quality standardsWork collaboratively and provide technical support to QFS and other teamsAbout youYou are an energetic, proactive, confident, and process-oriented Quality professional. Your proven quality improvement experience in a manufacturing environment, stakeholder engagement, collaborative working style, and excellent verbal and written communications, will be advantageous in this role. You enjoy taking ownership & responsibility and know how to act with speed, agility & pragmatism.To be successful you will also haveA tertiary qualification in Engineering/Chemistry/Microbiology/Food Science or similarProven QA and Validation experience in Infant Formula/Dairy/Food or other FMCG manufacturingGood Understanding of HACCP, ISO 22000 standards, GHP & GMP, GB standards MPI & FSANZ compliance requirements is desiredExperience in data analysis, and problem-solving methodologies is preferredPrior experience in auditing will be preferred but not necessaryLean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma experience are desired but not necessaryAbout UsDanone's mission is to bring health through food to as many people as possible and we want to invite people to join the movement for a healthier world.
