Established in 1999, Van Dyck Fine Foods Limited has become a market leader in hotplate baked, frozen thaw-back convenience foods.Van Dyck Fine Foods produces Pancakes/Pikelets, Blinis/Minis, and Crepes. We pride ourselves on the quality of our product, baked on European Hotplate equipment using traditional Belgium Recipes.We are looking for an energetic team player with an eye for detail to join our QA team for 20 hours per week.Reporting to the QHSE Manager, working as part of the Quality Assurance Team, the role is responsible for:Quality assessments of productRegular data input into a variety of different programmesRegular laboratory testingCreation of training modules on electronic platformInternal auditing and QHSE Manager support with external audit programProcedure and work instruction development to keep factory and all staff safeRoot cause analysisFacilitate the workers H&S ForumConduct hazard reviews and risk matrix managementWe envisage your qualifications, experience, and competencies to be:Preferable to have 2+ years' experience in a QA or H&S roleProficient in Excel, Microsoft, and PowerPointStrong written, verbal and presentation skills, with a high level of accuracyDevelop an understanding of consumer and customer specific requirementsAbility to relate in a culture of continuous improvementAble to meet deadlines and has strong problem-solving skillsAble to establish cross-functional relationships throughout the organisationYour energy and commitment towards business goals and working in a team-oriented style will see your career well supported and rewarded.Employer questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?Are you willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check?
