We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Technician to become a key member of our dedicated team.The Role:As a Quality Control Technician, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Performing routine quality checks on products, equipment, labels, packaging, batch code details, and more to ensure precision, functionality, and high standards.Conducting daily audits and GMP line walks.Maintaining accurate and thorough records.Collecting retention samples.Inspecting the condition of raw materials and finished goods.Promptly notifying the QA team of any issues or non-compliance with processes or products.What's in it for you:Full-time position, Monday to Friday.Additional benefits, including KiwiSaver, Annual Leave, and ACC Cover.Excellent opportunities for career advancement.A supportive team environment focused on your well-being.The Ideal Candidate Will Have:A tertiary qualification in a relevant scientific discipline, such as Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.A minimum of one year of experience in a GMP-regulated food manufacturing environment, with a solid understanding of pertinent food safety standards.Prior experience in a Quality Control role is highly desirable, though not mandatory.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.Proven problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make swift decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.A disciplined and detail-oriented approach to work, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy.A strong drive for career growth and professional development within the company.Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, enabling effective communication with suppliers, production teams, and management to promptly address and resolve quality issues.
