Quality Control Manager

MCS Group is delighted to recruit a Quality Control Manager for our successful client based in Carrickfergus. Our client has expanded steadily to include multiple manufacturing facilities across Japan, China, USA, Mexico, Thailand, and Europe. They are a world-class supplier of high-quality, technically complex automotive components.
As the Quality Control Manager you will:
Responsible for the internal quality, quality technicians, rework, and audit of the department
Manage activities of the QA Lab including supervision, development, and training of the Lab Technicians
Maintain and Control measurement, Inspection, and Test equipment
Continuous Improvement Activities
Support new product launches and participate in APQP activity
You will have:
Third-level qualification in an engineering/technical discipline (Candidates with a lesser qualification, significant relevant experience, and a demonstrated commitment to personal development will also be considered)
Knowledge of QMS including standards ISO 14001, ISO 18001, TS 16949
Working knowledge of PFMEA, control plans, and measurement system analysis
Proven track record in the application of problem-solving techniques
