About the role
We are currently looking for a Quality Control Laboratory Technician. The prime focus of this role will be to provide a high standard of housekeeping and cleaning throughout the laboratory. This is a physical role with some shifting and lifting as part of your regular day.
You will:
Ensure the laboratory and glassware are clean and tidy and that the equipment is available for the team during their shift
Support general laboratory operations with tasks around audits and managing solution preparation
Ongoing application of 5S principles
Support chemical management activities
Dust and solvent mask fit testing for staff
Management of laboratory inventory and consumables
Management of laboratory waste and expired materials
Maintaining stocks of cleaning materials as required

You will have/be:

This is a great opportunity for someone who has a minimum of 2 years' experience in an analytical lab environment and or in a lab support role. You will have a passion for quality in everything you do, you will be a highly engaged and motivated individual with a strong focus in safe work practices. Please note this role will cover our afternoon shift which is 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
