This is a full time, day shift role. 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Daily quality testing to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
Ensuring quality, hygiene and food safety policies and procedures are met
HCAPP Audit
Quality Control sampling and testing
Coordinate internal audits of GMP, Food Safety and HACCP system Documentation
Identify and correct quality issues, continuous improvement
Perform Quality control checks
Issue Certificates of Analysis
Reporting
The type of experience we are seeking for this role is:
Science qualification with major in Chemistry, Microbiology or Food Science
Experience in Micro analysis (Total Plate Count, Total Coliform, E coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Yeast and Moulds)
Experience in Chemical analysis (Moisture Content, Water Activity (Aw), Enzyme Analysis, Casein & Gluten analysis)
QA experience in a food manufacturing business
Experience in developing Food Safety systems and procedures – including auditing
Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
Great team work skills with a desire to pitch in to help the team succeed
This is a career opportunity that may suit a person with a qualification in food science or microbiology, who already has had experience in the food industry.
