Quality & Compliance Lead

We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality & Compliance Lead to join our production team based in Papakura.
You will work closely with the Production Manager and production teams across our dry cast and wet cast concrete precast facility ensuring our products comply with the appropriate standards, while always working on exceeding our customers' expectations.

Our Role
Maintain product quality by ensuring quality assurance policies and procedures.
Develop, implement, maintain, and communicate quality strategies and programs throughout the plant.
Strategically plan, review, and execute activities associated with continued compliance to the management systems: ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) Standards NZS 4058, 3109, 3114.
Work towards improving quality by identifying and removing the causes of defects and minimizing variability - Agree on corrective actions.
Ensure manufacturing team is operating to meet QA requirements and provide QC training for operators.
That customers (internal and external) receive timely and adequate advice/support/documentation regarding products and associated quality.
What You Will Bring
Certificate or vocational training in Quality Assurance or Quality Control with at least 3 years applicable experience.
At least 2-3 years of practical hands-on experience with the capability to comprehend and apply short-term and long-term business improvement processes and a proven track record of operating a large/medium size, high/medium complex site.
Technically minded - Functional knowledge of ISO9001 and product performance standards (NZS3101, NZS3104, NZS3109 and ASNZS4058 advantageous).
Strong communication written and verbal, confident liaising with stakeholders.
Willing to provide hands-on support onsite.
Excellent time management with the ability to be proactive and prioritise appropriately.
Confident with computers and technology, able to demonstrate experience with technology, Microsoft suite for example, with the ability to learn other IT applications.
