From building cell sites and burying the fibre cables that connect our network safely, to ensuring proprietary and third-party IT hardware and software solutions are tested, distributed, implemented and maintained, to making sure our handsets work and are repaired quickly and efficiently when they don't, we cover it all.THE ROLEAs a Quality Control Partner you'll be responsible for enabling Portfolio/Programme/Project leads take information driven decisions by collecting, producing and maintaining consistent data, producing regular and ad hoc repots upon such data. You will have in-depth knowledge of the portfolio/programme/project progress reporting standards and practices and will drive the enablement of the data collection and reporting best practices in the respective area assigned and drive Improvements.WHAT YOU'RE RESPONSIBLE FOR• Documentation – Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation including plans, reports, alerts and other relevant collateral to ensure clarity and consistency in procedures and results.• Defect Management – Logging, tracking and managing defects, ensure collaboration and education with other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and avoid repeats.• Quality Standard Compliance – Ensure that all established standards are followed and understood, industry best practice and relevant customer specific processes are followed.• Continuous Improvement – Participate in and lead process improvement initiatives top enhance performance and efficiency which will contribute to overall improvement to process and product.WHAT SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU NEED• Qualifications. Relevant tertiary qualifications, QA or Project management would be advantageous.• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role with significant track record of successful work (preferably within telecom sector).• Experienced user of all relevant data collection, data maintenance and reporting tools and techniques.• Fully computer literate with advanced experience in Microsoft Office applications.• Communication. Effective communication within team and with stakeholders. Outstanding communication skills in all formats, including the ability to make the complex and complicated, simple and understandable.• Stakeholder management. Proven partnering and stakeholder management capabilities and experience i.e., working effectively within and across teams and functions within a large organization.• Social & relationship skills. A people person, able to build rapport and constructive working relationships with diverse groups of people.• Resilience & growth mindset. Operates with a growth mindset, being willing to embrace challenges, persist in the face of setbacks and seek learnings from every opportunity.• Independent and proactive.
