Quality Assurance Lead

We have a Quality Assurance Lead position available in a growing company.
You will mainly focus on supporting the Operations Manager and Compliance team especially around delivering accurate data and helping to ensure we deliver on our customer promises.
You will need to be computer savvy and like data, along with being able to work alongside the production and packing teams when required to ensure product is ready.
We have a team of 30.
Flexibility is important.
A full drivers licence is required and an active fork hoist licence will be an advantage.
The role involves the product checking and paperwork checking of all Inwards and Outwards.
However, the main role is ensuring batch traceability and our quality standards are being meet by the team.
The factory is export level, therefore attention to detail is vital along with knowledge and a skill set that likes to follow process and procedures is a must.
We can train and develop you.
But you must have the ability to multi task and be solution based on the spot to ensure production deadlines/targets are met/achieved.
Job requirements: Physical fitness and the ability to be on your feet all day.
To not be sensitive to the heat or the cold.
The ability to work weekends if required especially over the peak months of October through to end of December.
Hours of work will be 9am to 5pm.
Monday to Friday.
You will be required to wear PPE each day, safety boots, high vis vest, and a hair net – all of which will be provided.
Our food processing environment means that no jewellery (including watches) or accessories can be worn at work.
