We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Christchurch, Dorset or Cwmfelinfach Team.
As Quality Engineer for our Sensors facility you will design, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. You will be responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution.

Your Challenge:
Develops, applies and revises quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements.
Reviews and evaluates in-process rejections, obtains disposition and implements corrective action as needed.
Interface with customers, vendors and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information.
Participates in audits.
Provides technical support to inspection personnel as needed.
May prepare and provide product assurance documentation as required by customer programs.
Performing analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary.
Assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications, standards and provide product assurance documentation as required by customer programs.
What You Bring:
Degree (or equivalent) either Engineering or Quality standard.
Must be familiar with AS9100 Rev. D.
Experienced in a similar role, ideally in an Aerospace and/or Defense industry, but experience in other regulated industries will be considered.
Preferred:
Understanding of EASA part 145 and part 21G.
Training in Lean Sigma tools, PPAP, FMEA etc.
