This full-time role will be based in our Addington, Canterbury office, where you will be crucial in maintaining the highest quality standards across our manufacturing operations.What you'll be doingQuality Management Systems (QMS): Implement, maintain, and improve QMS in line with ISO standards and FDA regulations.
Manage customer complaints, risk assessments, documentation, and supplier qualifications.Auditing: Conduct internal audits and assist with external and supplier audits.Documentation: Approve batch records, Certificates of Analysis (CoAs), and final product documents.Continuous Improvement: Promote quality culture, lead QMS meetings, and drive process improvements.Additional Tasks: Adapt to evolving responsibilities as needed.What we're looking forEducation/Experience: Tertiary qualification in Science or equivalent experience in Biotech, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or Manufacturing industries.Quality Management: Expertise in quality systems, standards (ISO 13485, ISO 14971), FDA regulations, and auditing (internal and external).Risk and Analytical Skills: Strong risk management, data management, and problem-solving capabilities.Work Environment: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced bioprocess manufacturing setting.Detail-oriented: High accuracy, attention to detail, and structured work approach.Soft Skills: Positive attitude, passion for process improvement, and fostering a strong quality culture.Technical Skills: Computer literacy and a systematic approach to quality initiatives.What we offerAt Canterbury Scientific, we value our employees and strive to create a supportive and rewarding work environment.
