The purpose of this role is to coordinate the Quality activities related to Quality Assurance and Food Safety23rd April, 2024 ofi is a leading global integrated supply chain manager, processor and grower of agricultural products and food ingredients, supplying various products across 16 platforms to over 13,000 customers worldwide. With a direct presence in more than 65 countries with sourcing and processing in most major producing countries, Olam has built a global leadership position in many of its businesses. In Australia & New Zealand, we operate in multiple products including coca, dairy, and almonds.The purpose of this role is to coordinate the Quality activities related to Quality Assurance and Food Safety. We seek suitably qualified candidates for the role of Quality Assurance Coordinator to be based at our Tokoroa Plant.Reporting to the Quality and Food Safety Manager you will be accountable for:Quality ControlAssisting with investigations of quality concerns, customer complaints and non- compliance to specifications and provide reports as directedRelease / disposition of finished products and ingredientsAssisting with the development and maintenance of supplier quality assurance systemsEnsuring adequate control of non-conforming product occurs to prevent releaseManaging the services and calibrations of lab equipment as per manufactures guidelinesEnsuring document control measures are in place and maintained for the Quality departmentAny other duty assigned by management23rd April, 2024 ofi is a leading global integrated supply chain manager, processor and grower of agricultural products and food ingredients, supplying various products across 16 platforms to over 13,000 customers worldwide. Assist with ensuring effective cleaning and maintenance of equipment and buildings and ensure adequate security and personal hygiene measures are in place and adhered to.Implementing, managing and maintaining all Quality and Food Safety SystemsAnalysing Quality data to provide ongoing valuable feedback to enable continual improvements in qualityDeveloping and maintaining standards / specification in relation to packaging materials, product, and customer specificationsAssisting with investigations of quality concerns, customer complaints and non-compliance to specifications and provide reports as directedManaging the services and calibrations as per manufactures guidelines and the Quality planAchieving and maintaining HACCP and BRC accreditation for the siteMonitoring legal compliance checks and analyses for all productsThis role is suitable for someone with food industry experience, with an understanding of dairy supply and processing and internal audit experience .  Data management and analysis skills, procedure writing skills, and the ablity to influence and motivate others to achieve change, able to analyze and interpret technical data and have strong document control management skills are essential.
