In this role you'll analyze requirements, be involved in the design, execution, and documentation of tests across our clients' range of software products, and apply various testing techniques within desired time frames.
This position requires an appreciation of the software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and agile delivery.The position will support the team in delivering the software solutions by applying best practice methods in software testing.
The role will bring their subject matter expertise, business, legislative and technical knowledge, and perspective to work in partnership with the team.Having a Telecommunications background will be an advantage.RequirementsDeliver in accordance with the Test Management Process and related processes, practices, standards, and policies.Undertake requirements/user story analysis of project deliverables by:Participating in the review of the detailed requirements or user stories, the solution design, and other detailed design documentation to measure completeness and overall testability.Analyzing the requirements or user stories to develop test scenarios, test cases, and other test assets as required using Test Case Design (TCD) techniques as applicable.Maintaining traceability between requirements or user stories and test artifacts by contributing to the development and ongoing maintenance of the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).Developing and delivering both structured and executable test cases.Identifying and specifying test data requirements and assisting in the preparation and management of the resulting test data sets.Contributing to the development of test estimates and test schedules.Participating in the peer review of test cases produced by others and providing constructive and timely feedback.Participating in the 'risk-based' prioritization of both the test design and test execution planning and scheduling activities.Participating in the setup and configuration of the tools and equipment necessary to support both the test management and defect management processes as directed by Internal Key Relationships.Participating in the 'Sanity Check' of the test environments, test data, and/or applications before the commencement of test execution.Seniority levelEntry levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionQuality AssuranceIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr
