Werepresent industries in the Services sector including Advisory Services,Aviation, Cleaning Services, Business Services, Contact Centres, FinancialServices, Hospitality, Local Government, Real Estate, Retail, SecurityServices, State Sector, and Tourism & Travel.Te ahua o Te Turanga – The nature of the positionThe Quality Assurance Advisor undertakes quality assuranceactivities to determine whether the outcomes have been met by undertakingexternal moderation activities with multiple providers. This role has a focuson continuous improvement and working collaboratively with training providersto monitor and evaluate assessment documentation and decisions to ensure thatstandards are applied validly and consistently to all learners.You will apply risk criteria to identify whereRinga Hora should be focusing its external moderation activities and undertakepre-assessment and post moderation of provider assessment materials.You will provide specialist input into thedevelopment of moderation plans and engage and work with training providers.Some travel will be required to enable you to build a close workingrelationships with our service industries.You will be able to demonstrateknowledge of the standards and practices used in moderation and assessment andhow these support continuous improvement for learners. You will also be able towork with diverse groups, managing multiple stakeholders, clients,organisations and providers to facilitate industry outcomes.Experience in tertiary educationand training sector, and knowledge of training delivery options, is important,coupled with experience in one or more of the industries we support in theservices sector.Extensive experience ininterpreting the assessment requirements of unit standards is advantageous inthis role.We are a workplace that values and utilises diverse andinclusive thinking, people, and behaviours.
