This is a fixed term position ending in June 2025, offering 20 hours per week to be worked across Monday to Friday, and we are flexible on the days. The role is based in our National Office in Wellington. The Quality and Compliance Coordinator reports to the Quality and Compliance Advisor to provide coordination and administration support to ensure ongoing quality improvement, including audit, risk management and reporting are maintained, while the Quality and Compliance Advisor is undertaking a project. To be considered for this role you will have: Experience in quality assurance, ideally in a healthcare setting. Demonstrated experience as an administrator or coordinator with strong attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure, while managing multiple competing priorities. Well-developed problem-solving and decision-making skills relevant to dealing with incidents/complaints and compliance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong relationship building and influencing skills. Demonstrated experience with a range of software packages, particularly Microsoft Office products including Excel. Understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act and commitment to safety, health, and wellbeing in relation to the workplace and work activities. An understanding of the healthcare sector and Health Information Privacy Code 2020 and Privacy Act 2020.
