Quality Advisor – Cream Products

We are currently seeking a Quality Advisor with a solid understanding of food manufacture and quality control to work with our Cream Products Manufacturing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating non-conformity within the production area, determining the root cause of problems and implementing corrective actions in a timely fashion to prevent recurrence.

The role requires close liaison with the Quality and Regulatory Assurance team as well as the production team and will play an integral part in Customer, Regulatory and Management System audits. Other responsibilities include assisting with the preservation of the high manufacturing standards in accordance with HACCP and Quality Protocols.

The candidate is expected to work with all appropriate staff to seek continuous improvements to achieve the highest quality and manufacturing standards.

Skills and attributes required to do this job include:

Sound knowledge/proven experience in working with quality and product safety management systems

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good written and verbal communication skills

Computer literacy, including use of Excel

A practical aptitude and a positive attitude

A willingness to learn.

Previous experience in a food production environment and/or with investigation of non-conformity is critical.

A tertiary qualification in Food Science, Engineering or relevant laboratory/operating skills would be an advantage but is not essential.
