The Role We are seeking an experienced Account Manager with strong commercial acumen and an ability to influence. This role will be responsible for managing the quality and lab customer delivery relationships which is a key resource in Synlait's Quality team and contributor to enhancing our overall customer focused experience. You will be the driving force behind the Quality relationship and management of a key customer. This is a pivotal role where you will showcase your excellence in building credibility, trust and expertise with key stakeholders across the value chain. Main Responsibilities: Develop a deep understanding of our customers' Quality and Food Safety compliance. Building mutually beneficial relationships to reach the right outcomes and close gaps that exist or develop through natural evolution. Monitor both customer and internal product performance key metrics, laser focus on product deviations to a set timeframe, coordinate investigations and track to agreed timelines, monitor close out performance, review and approve customer internal and external quality communication across several touch points. A role model for Quality behaviours, culture and customer voice. Deliver your KPI results by driving actions end to end across the value chain. End to end responsibility for the Quality performance associated with the assigned customers. Chase and deliver the successful outcomes. Bring issues accompanied by options for the solution and a clear recommendation to the Head of Quality Delivery. The key to your success will be your ability to be a valued, trusted and knowledgeable resource for both internal and external stakeholders. If this sounds like you then we want to hear from you! Strategic thinking, development and planning – need to be steps ahead of the opportunity. Ability to manage stakeholders and facilitate collaboration between many people to drive a shared goal.
