Whether you are a newly qualified teacher or an experienced educator, if you have a passion for teaching young children, we want to hear from you. This is a fixed term position starting November 2024 to May 2025. We are looking for someone for 24-30 hours per week over 3-5 days, we can be flexible to suit your work/life balance needs.
You will be based in our Piwakawaka Room, working alongside our under 2 year old tamariki. In this space we prioritize the natural rhythms and routines of each child, ensuring they feel secure and supported throughout their time with us. We maintain close collaboration with families to foster continuity between centre and home life, enriching the childcare experience with seamless transitions.

B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
