Qualified Teacher (Beststart Pleasant Point) About the role: BestStart Pleasant Point is seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Teacher to join their energetic team of educators. They are open to a new graduate teacher and will support you in taking your career to the next level.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Overseeing tamariki and centre routines; participating fully in centre activities across the mixed ages (2-3 year olds).
Demonstrating and promoting the philosophy of the centre.
Being a caring advisor to parents and families/whanau regarding our policies, practices, and curriculum.
Role requirements:
Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence.
B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current teacher registration/certification.
Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning, and extending on our children's learning.
Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki, and hold compliance in high regard.
A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices.
Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality.
This is a permanent full-time position working 30-40 hours per week, between the hours of 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
