About the Role:
This is a fixed term position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday to cover parental leave, ending in April 2025. You will be working alongside our over 2 year old tamariki. Our centre provides a nurturing and stimulating environment designed to support children's growth and development. With spacious, well-organized classrooms filled with age-appropriate resources, children are encouraged to explore and engage in meaningful play.
Role requirements:
We are looking for the following:
B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification
Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
Being flexible with a positive, can-do attitude
Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
