About the Role:
Whether you are a newly qualified teacher or an experienced educator, if you have a passion for teaching young children, we want to hear from you. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday.
You can be based with our nursery or toddler aged tamariki, we have the flexibility depending on where your passion lies! Our centre is divided into three classrooms, each catering to different age groups and learning styles.
Our mixed-age playground provides a unique opportunity for children to interact and learn from peers of varying ages. Older children gain valuable experiences in compassion, patience, and problem-solving as they assist younger peers, while younger children are encouraged to take on challenges and participate in more complex activities alongside their older counterparts.
Role requirements:

B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) and current Teacher Certification
Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning and extending on our children's learning
Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki and hold compliance in a high regard
A strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through pedagogical practices
Passion and commitment for teaching and learning with a focus on delivering quality
