Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Nurse Associate to join the North Dales Treatment and Intervention Team. The applicant must have already completed the Nursing Associate foundation degree and be a registered Nurse Associate on the NMC register. The successful applicant will work as part of the busy community team offering a recovery-focused pathway to Service Users and will carry their own caseload as Lead Professional.

Main Duties of the Job The successful applicant will work as part of the busy integrated community mental health team offering recovery-focused interventions to service users. The applicant will carry their own caseload as Lead Professional with supervision and support from the wider multi-disciplinary team. This role will involve multi-agency working and liaison with other services within Tees Esk and Wear Valley NHS Trust.

Person Specification Qualifications Registered Nursing Associate on the NMC register
GCSE Grade A-C in Maths & English or skills level 2 Maths & English or equivalent
Qualification in assessment, supervision, and teaching in clinical practice
Experience Up-to-date understanding of the scope and role of the Nursing Associate in the context of the nursing and multidisciplinary team and the organisation, and how the role may contribute to service development
Understands and acts in line with NMC professional standards for practice contained within The Code
Experience of working with clients who experience mental illness
Experience of working within a community setting
Knowledge Experience of working in teams under appropriate supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Insight into how to evaluate own strengths and development needs, seeking advice where appropriate
Experience of providing and receiving complex, sensitive information
Knowledge of mental illness
Skills Ability to take part in reflective practice and clinical supervision activities
Ability to organise and prioritise own delegated workload
Ability to develop effective and appropriate relationships with people, their families, carers, and colleagues
Experience in the administration of depot injections
