Qualified Electricians

Our clients are seeking experienced, Qualified Electricians to be responsible for performing skilled electrical work in the maintenance, installation, alteration and repair of electrical equipment, systems and fixtures. You will adhere to NZ electrical standards at all times.Duties and ResponsibilitiesReading and understanding technical blueprints and diagramsGeneral electrical maintenance and repairs to meet customer requirementsInstalling, maintaining and repairing electrical control, wiring and lighting systemsTroubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devicesFixing and replacing equipment, fixtures and electrical wiringExamine circuit breakers, transformers and other electrical componentsComplete relevant tasks as requested by other managers & team membersUse and care for hand tools and equipment necessary to perform various electrical repairs tasksComply with New Zealand laws and regulations regarding safetyInstall electrical fittings to existing houses, buildings & other structuresDraw circuits on a diagram for controlsPlan and manage own work to ensure a satisfactory and cost-effective outcomeAbout You:Fully qualified Electrician, registered with EWRBMotivated with a hands-on attitudeStrong problem-solving skillsThe ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills and able to follow instructionsAbility to work unsupervisedPlease click Apply Now to apply for this role or to register your interest.
