We are calling for interest from registered ECE Teachers to work in either Greta Point (Evans Bay) and Kaiwharawhara. Our client is in growth mode and due to continued demand for childcare from the local communities, they are expanding their teams in both locations in Wellington. 
These roles would best suit Teachers who are happy working in a respect-based philosophy within a play-based child led curriculum across busy learning environments. A large part of your day will be planning engaging activities for the tamariki and engagement with whanau. 
This is a permanent, full time position working Monday - Friday. Both centres have been refurbished, offering generous play spaces and outdoor areas and views across the harbour!

What would we like to see from you? B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE) Current New Zealand Teacher Registration (provisional or full) Full NZ work rights and be residing in NZ already  A genuine warmth, care, and passion for children. Demonstrated passion for tamarikis learning and the ability to plan engaging activties  Team-player who is collaborative and reflects upon best practice. Knowledge and understanding of Te Whariki We welcome applications from NZ based Kaiako of all different experience levels and happy to also consider a Teacher in Training in their final months of study. Overseas applicants will not be considered.
