We are looking for a team member who can effectively contribute to the Butchery Department by demonstrating the following capabilities:
Breaking, boning, slicing and cutting all carcasses and meat in preparation for sale.
Assisting in the daily operations and general needs of the Butchery Department.
Ensuring only quality product is presented for sale.
Assist with production planning and prioritizing of work to ensure we meet the demands of our Butchery Department.
Happy to help and advise customers with any queries they may have, ensuring excellent customer service standards are delivered at all times.
Understanding and complying with all compliance requirements in regards to Health & Safety and Food Safety.
Working effectively in a team, ensuring working areas are well organized and managed.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
The ability and skills to work within a team environment as well as unsupervised.
Knowledge and passion about the butchery trade and the production of the finest quality meat products.
The ability to work quickly and efficiently whilst maintaining excellent customer service.
Reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic.
Maturity and the ability to problem solve while working at all times to best practice standards.
Willingness to contribute ideas and participate in the overall success of the Butchery Department.
